These people that make these videos have a lot of energy I no longer have. They are to be admired.  As far as litter goes, I simply cannot understand it.  At the bus stops in my city there are shelters to wait for the bus.  There are disposal units available but people just throw stuff on the floor.  And then it looks like a pig sty. There's a phone number to report graffiti as well which I often use.  One shelter that was particularly bad was removed completely by the city.

Lazy people who just don't care! I often wonder if their home is the same littered with crap.

I viewed the video you posted.  It seems like it's the same guy as the one I recommended.
He's a genius at designing and building and seems to have unlimited energy.

I couldn't figure out how his water wheel produced AC voltage instead of DC.

I have become like the guy from Germany restoring items that have been discarded. In our apartment people drop off stuff they don't want to take with them when they leave.  Some of it is really good stuff.  I just finished restoring a Panasonic CD player that takes tapes as well as a CD.  Dual speakers.  Nice sound and it comes with a remote. The downside is that it must have been used in a cooking or smoking environment .  It was covered in a dark coating of something.  My solution for something like that although you really have to be careful with it is toilet bowl cleaner.  That works like magic on grease. I think it's sodium hydroxide.

It has a record mode as well.I also am working on a Canon printer.  I like it because it has an SD card slot so you can take pictures on your camera and print them on the printer.  The cartridges are dry but I know how to restore and re ink them. I like Canon printers because they don't go all out to not recognize rebuilt cartridges which sell for half price.  It does work when I plug it in.  My sister is looking for a printer so I will give it to her.  It's a huge heavy monster. Canon MX 420.

It is good that you are keeping busy. I love repairing things.
I once took a small engine repair class, ended up opening a small engine repair shop myself, served my time and got a mechanics license. I had a few engine warranty contracts also.

I taught myself small engine repair and can fix most problems to get an engine going again.  It's either no spark or no fuel most of the time.  I repair all of a friends small engine problems and he has a garage full.  Keeps me busy.  I love it. It's good to keep busy if you live in an apartment.  A home will keep you busy whether you like it or not.

Today's small engines are electronic, coil and points are all rolled into one unit. But basically the same to repair. My tune up consisted of removing the head, valves, clean the carbon, adjust the valves, new gaskets, new point and condenser, sparkplug set, new oil and filters, sharpen blade, check the recoil starter and give the spring a lite coating of oil.
I use to have a lawnmower platforum that the lawnmower sat on and turn the platform on and it would spin the motor, for checking the graps on the points and valves.

That's a skill the average homeowner doesn't have.  I notice a lot of people just discard the old lawnmower or whatever and buy a new one when it stops working.  I used to work on my snowblower in the summer when it was nice out and the light was good.  I had it for over 20 years until I won one at the local casino.  I sold it to a friend and it started on the first pull.  I was able to go online and get all the information I needed from someone in the U.S. who used to collect snowblowers and took them as donations.  I'm thinking of that snowblower today we had a terrible winter storm with brutal cold temperatures and wind.  I used to hang a light bulb near the carburetor so I could get it started.  It was a pull cord model.  No electric start.

I had one snowblower, Tec. Eng, 10 HP I think, and it was electric start. I am still using the same lawnmower I bought. I think maybe 30 years or more ago, never been touched except filter and plug. Electric start, but he battery will not hold a charge any long, I prime it and it starts on the first or second pull.

I saw a You Tube video where a battery was completely restored because it wouldn't hold a charge anymore.  I'm wondering if you could do that to a smaller battery that is no longer working. This is the problem with an Apple Ipad.  The battery eventually dies and can't be replaced.  Well it can but it's a difficult job for an amateur.  My cell phone is a Samsung.  The batteries can easily be replaced.
