The Beano and the Dandy. My friend up the road got the Eagle, which I think was a little more expensive than the Beano and Dandy. Better quality paper as well. We always reckoned the Eagle to be a bit more 'up-market'.

I have a copy of the Eagle (not originally bought by me). It's kept in the dark and folded in half inside a plastic folder. We think it would drop to bits if it was taken out of the folder and opened.
