Just found out. I'm allergic to shellfish.  Had a lobster dinner at a party and my feet swelled up like a balloon.

Ordered from TEMU online again.  They now have a minimum order of $15.00 but shipping is free.  The package came in via Canada Post right on time.  A cap, sewing machine attachment, Tape, and shower bar.  $24.00 including tax.

Well I hope your ok now. Will this happen if you eat any type of shell sea food?

Well I remember when I had an x ray on my legs and I broke out in hives.  The doctor told me I was allergic to iodene in the dye and that's what's in shellfish.  I don't find I'm allergic to prawns. My favorite is coconut shrimp. Mind you the portion of lobster was huge.  I thing lobster is overrated.  It's quite bland.

Truth be told, I don't care for any type of shell creatures, I just stick to one or two types of fish.

I finnaly got some good peaches. I made an upsidedown peach cake. Looked nice and brown on top, tooth pick came out clean. Take it out cool it flip it onto a cake dish. Let it cool some more, cut into the cake, dam center is all gooie. Cooked long enough or it would have burnt.
Dam what a waste.

And the Ontario peaches are so good this year.

I made a peach cobbler.  The topping didn't turn out so hot.  It was edible but nothing to write home about.  I'm sticking to just cutting up the peaches and having them with ice cream and a lady finger. Baking is all about finding a good recipe that works the first time out.  Seems to me nothing that needs baking with fresh fruit seems to work best.

Although there's nothing like an apple or blueberry pie freshly baked.

Yes the peaches are great, sweet corn also, very tender and good tasting.

Easy apple pies, I do them all the time, also pumpkin pies.

Fresh blueberries picked are expensive now but nothing like the wild ones.  The farmed ones don't have the taste. They are sold from car trunks here.  $35 a basket. Mostly from people from out of town.

I love the wild berries, I have picked blue berries up north, raspberries on the walking trail.

I just bought a bag of frozen blue berries for just under 5 dollars, good size bag, I use them in a protein smoothie drink.

If I am not around, it is I have a problem. The wife couldn't walk due to a swollen foot that was hurting badly. Well at 3 am, she was getting up for a pee, and slipped out of the bed. Tried getting her up, but she wasn't helping much. I got behind her and lifted her, she was dead weight, part way up I felt something snap. I have had a very painful back now for going on 3 days, and still helping her around. Pain killers don't work, so today I started on OxyContin, helps a little more than Tylenol.
If it doesn't ease up over the weekend,
Dam it is rough when your old, and not in shape I will have to go see the Doctor, and see what is going on.

My priority is staying in shape.  I have had back problems for years.  A deteriorated disc.  I make sure I don't lift anything heavy.

Walking seems to alleviate my back pain or riding a bike.

Of course a good sleep helps as well.  What can I say.  Get back in shape.

Pain is slowly going away. Last night was the first good sleep I had.
I don't think I'll be lifting her up like that again.

I'm back up.  Thanks for the help.
I sure struggled after having my laptop crash.
I'm listening to Engleburt Humberdink on an old tape.  I have a collection of tapes but of course everything is on CD now.  However someone left a Panasonic unit behind.  This is what they do here in our apartment.  They leave it in the laundry room.  So I took it, cleaned it up and it's working.  Can play tapes and CD's and FM and AM radio.  Can also record to a CD from the tapes.I can also record from You Tube music on my ancient computer.  There's a program called Audacity that allows you to plug in a source and copy to the computer and then send it to a CD.  Glad you are up and around. Check out the sign up option.  Doesn't seem to work for me.

Yep we is old time, and have to stay up with today's techniques. Of course all the tools we have are of course outdated as usual.
