The U.S. Economy Is Pretty Good Right Now

The U.S. economy is pretty good right now — relative to the worst moments of the pandemic, things are looking far better than many anticipated.

Some 80 percent of jobs lost have been regained, unemployment is down to 4.6 percent and people are making, and spending, more.

But Americans seem to feel terrible about the financial outlook. According to a long-running survey by the University of Michigan, in early November, consumer sentiment was at its worst in a decade.

Why the gap between reality and perception?

So why do I hear on all the news programs, we are experiencing hardship with cars payments, mortgage payments, buying food, etc.

Ever see some of the homes people are buying today 350 to 1.5 million plus, have landscapers, inground pools, two to three cars sitting in the driveway. No wonder they can't pay.

The economy in the U.S. is doing really well now.  The stock market is setting records.

But Biden isn't getting credit for it.  Trump claims he is responsible for the good news because people think he will be elected.

The man never stops does he?
